Method
This is a clarified cocktail. Probably makes sense to scale up since the result is shelf stable. There are more thorough guides online for clarification, but this method contains all the fundamentals.
Combine all ingredients (do the milk last) in a container that can cleanly pour the contents. Allow it to mix and curdle for an hour or so.
Prepare a new container that will catch the clarified result by setting a strainer on the container and lining with paper towels or cheese cloth.
Slowly pour the milky mixture through the strainer without touching or disturbing it. The milk collects on the liner and does the real work of clarifying; it might falter if disturbed too much.
If the liquid is still cloudy at the beginning, just wait until it becomes totally clear and then run that portion of the liquid back through the filter.
In the end it should be crystal clear. Bottle it, and it will keep for weeks or months in a refrigerator.
After preparing the clarified batch, pour 75ml into a chilled coupe and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
